My name is Lilly Hudson Opengo, and I am a UX/UI Designer and website designer/developer based in Rockford, Illinois. I work with both local and remote businesses to help guide their vision and bring their ideas to life through strategic user-centered design. I remain curious and thoughtful throughout every step of the process.

Design is never finished. I embrace continuous improvement through questioning, testing, and iterating, so your website/product grows in line with your users’ needs. Great UX is never static; it adapts and improves with time.
My Story & Journey
Growing up, I was constantly immersed in the arts, from sketching and drawing to painting/exploring design through school projects and extracurricular activities. Throughout my years, my creativity continued to grow stronger over time. I participated in and gained experiences that further developed my passion for design.
Naturally, I was also highly fascinated by technology and loved exploring new ideas, understanding how systems worked, and seeing how digital tools could solve real-world problems. Blending my two passions of creativity and problem-solving, it naturally led me to UX and web design. My background in art, technology, and business helps me bring a unique perspective to every project I work on, one that is equal parts beauty, strategy, and functionality.

Tech Stack: I work with various platforms/content management systems (CMS), ranging from WordPress, Shopify, Wix, and other e-commerce platforms. I am well-versed in design systems and quick to learn new technologies/integrations. My toolbox includes, but is not limited to, Figma, HTML & CSS, Adobe Creative Suite, and more.

A Glimpse Behind the Screen
When I am not designing, you will find me spending my free time immersing myself in the arts, creating, painting, and exploring the natural world. I enjoy spending my time with my fur babies, oil painting landscapes, hiking local trails/nature preserves, trying new things, and going to new places.
At home, I am constantly surrounded by my cats and a very energetic German Shepherd, who all keep me on my toes.
